With each passing page, her mind seemed to unravel… or perhaps she was just hiding something far more deliberate. And then, one day, she vanished. Her diary remained, stuffed with riddles and unsettling doodles. But her purse, her jewelry chest, her favorite candelabra, and just about every valuable object she owned… gone without a trace.

Did Mary lose her grip on reality? Did she outsmart everyone and stage her own disappearance? Or is she still out there, laughing in some secret corner of Europe?
